Little Alice was to be aborted, but her mother spared her life. She was born in a home for unwed mothers and lived in an orphanage until she was adopted at the age of four. Her new family named her Lily Marie Prentice.

Though Lily Marie walked through many valleys and overcame seemingly impossible circumstances of birth abandonment, rejection, fear, and abuse, she remained faithful to the Lord and stood on His promises.

In 1997, God called Lily Marie into full time ministry by saying, “I am the Lily of the Valley, and you tell them that you were the Lily in the valley.”

Lily Marie was called home to be with her Heavenly Father in 2006, but her mission lives on to minister to young women with broken hearts, wounded spirits, and shattered lives through the ministry which she was called to create, Lily of the Valley Ministries.

Lily of the Valley Inc. is a faith-based, non-profit organization which offers alternatives to young women facing the challenges of unplanned pregnancy or crises pregnancy.
